What the simulator does
You set the exam
Choose how many questions and how many minutes. Run a full-length exam at the weekend, or 15 questions in 15 minutes at lunch.
A clock that's always visible
The countdown stays on screen while you work, so you learn your own pace: where you rush, and where you lose time.
A focused screen
One question at a time, with clear answer options and nothing else competing for your attention.
Extra time, or no clock at all
If you have an extra-time accommodation for the real exam, practice with the same allowance: 25%, 50% or double time. You can also turn the timer off.
Questions read aloud
A Read aloud button speaks the question and its answer options, at a speed you choose, using the voices already on your device.
A score at the end
When you finish or the time runs out, you get your score. Past attempts are kept, so you can see whether you're improving.
Why practice with a timer?
Most certification exams give you between one and two minutes per question. People who know the content still fail because they spend six minutes on question 9 and guess their way through the last twenty.
Timed practice fixes that in a way reading can't. After a few timed runs you know how long a hard question is worth, when to move on, and how much time you have left for review.
How to use it in a study plan
- Start with flashcards. Go through new questions untimed and read the explanations. See flashcards from your PDF.
- Move to short timed sets. Twenty questions at exam pace shows which topics are still weak.
- Finish with full-length exams. In the last week or two, sit the real question count and time limit in one go.
Where the questions come from
From you. ExamYeti has no question library. You import your own practice questions from a PDF, pasted text or a spreadsheet, and the simulator runs on those.
