Practice test maker
Make a practice test from the questions you already have
ExamYeti is a practice test maker for people studying for an exam. Bring your own multiple-choice questions, and it builds the test, runs the timer and keeps the score.
Three ways to add questions
Upload a PDF
For question sets that are already laid out as numbered questions with lettered answers. See PDF to practice test.
Paste text
Copy questions from notes, a document or an email and paste them in. Handy when the source isn't a PDF.
Use the spreadsheet template
One row per question, saved as CSV. The most reliable route when you're writing questions yourself or building a set for a team.
Edit until the test is right
Imported questions are rarely perfect. With the question editor on a paid plan you can reword a question, change the answer options, mark a different correct answer and add an explanation for why it's correct.
Then take it like a real exam
Pick the number of questions and the time limit, and the exam simulator does the rest. If you'd rather go slowly first, the same questions work as flashcards.
Who it's for
- Certification candidates with practice questions from a book, a course or a study group.
- Students who write their own questions. Writing a question about a topic is one of the better ways to learn it; this gives those questions somewhere to live.
- Study groups and trainers who keep a question set in a spreadsheet. Each person imports the sheet into their own account.
