Terms of Service

1. The service

ExamYeti is a study tool. You upload practice questions, and it presents them as flashcards and practice exams. ExamYeti supplies no exam questions and is not affiliated with any certification vendor.

2. Your account

You sign in through a third-party account or an emailed code. You're responsible for what happens under your account. You must be old enough to form a contract where you live.

3. Your content

You keep ownership of what you upload. You give us permission to store and process it only to provide the service to you. Your content is private to your account and is not shared with other users.

4. What you may upload

You are solely responsible for your content. By uploading it, you confirm that:

you own it or have the right to use it for personal study;
it does not contain live or confidential certification exam questions obtained or shared in breach of a vendor's exam agreement or non-disclosure terms;
it does not infringe anyone's copyright, trademark or other rights; and
it is not unlawful.

We may remove content and suspend or close accounts that break these rules, including in response to a notice under our copyright policy. Accounts of repeat infringers will be closed.

5. Plans and payment

Prices are shown on the pricing page. Subscriptions renew until cancelled, and you can cancel at any time; access continues to the end of the paid period. The 90-day pass is a single payment that does not renew. Payments are handled by our payment processor.

6. When a plan ends, and unused accounts

When a paid plan ends, because you cancelled, it wasn't renewed, a payment could not be collected or a 90-day pass ran out, your account returns to the free plan. We keep all your files for 30 days. After that we permanently delete every file except one, along with the questions and exam scores that belong to the deleted files. We keep the file you studied most recently unless you choose a different one. We email you when your plan ends and again 7 days before deletion.

If an account has no active paid plan and has not been signed in to for 6 months, we permanently delete the account and all of its content. We send a warning to the account's email address 30 days beforehand; signing in keeps the account.

Deleted content cannot be recovered. Keep your own copy of anything you upload.

7. Acceptable use

Don't try to access other users' data, disrupt the service, resell it, or use it to distribute content to others.

8. No guarantee of results

The service is provided "as is". We don't promise that you'll pass an exam, that imports will be error-free, or that the service will always be available.

9. Liability

To the extent the law allows, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
